Voor mijn afstudeertraject aan de Hogeschool Rotterdam heb ik onderzoek gedaan naar de inzet van Artificial Intelligence (AI) bij het sneller en efficiënter identificeren van geschikte hoogbouwlocaties in de Metropoolregio Rotterdam-Den Haag. Dit praktijkgerichte onderzoek is uitgevoerd in samenwerking met SONS Real Estate.

Het onderzoek bestond uit literatuurstudie, interviews met planologen en ontwikkelaars, beleidsanalyse en een interne enquête. Op basis hiervan heb ik een Functioneel Ontwerp ontwikkeld voor een AI-tool die ruimtelijke data, beleidsregels en risico-indicatoren combineert tot een locatieprofiel. De tool ondersteunt vastgoedprofessionals in de oriëntatiefase van binnenstedelijke verdichting.
