Join us as an entry-level Wind Farm Service Technician, embarking on an exciting journey in the renewable energy sector. You will receive comprehensive on-the-job training to maintain and service advanced wind turbine technology. Your daily tasks will include performing scheduled maintenance, conducting inspections, and assisting with troubleshooting and repairs of wind turbine systems. Working alongside experienced technicians, you will learn to use various tools and diagnostic equipment, ensuring the safety and optimal performance of our wind farm assets. Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbines, including mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting and diagnosing malfunctions in turbine systems under the guidance of senior technicians.
• Execute basic repairs and component replacements using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Adhere strictly to all Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures.
• Actively participate in on-the-job training and collaborate effectively with team members to complete tasks efficiently and safely.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED; an Associate’s Degree or Technical Certificate in Wind Energy or a related mechanical/electrical field is preferred.
• Vocational education in electrical/technical (MBO 3/4) or equivalent work experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools and power tool operation.
• Basic understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems, along with troubleshooting skills.
• Valid Driver’s License and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
