The Role

As a warehouse manager, together with your team and fellow warehouse managers, you handle all inbound, storage, and outbound processes of goods for our clients, including value-added activities. You do this within an innovative and dynamic environment. You implement new clients, maintain relationships with existing clients, and actively contribute to the future of DSV.

Responsibilities

Manage an average of 1 to 3 (senior) warehouse team leaders and indirectly oversee 5 to 45 warehouse employees.
Direct, coach, and support your team.
Coordinate your department’s logistics activities with those of other internal departments.
Provide management information based on pre-agreed targets and KPIs.
Monitor operational performance in terms of both quality and quantity, with a strong emphasis on quality and security requirements, and take corrective action when necessary.
Initiate and embed continuous improvement in our operational processes.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role within a logistics or production environment.
A passion for logistics and the ability to inspire others.
Strong English communication skills, Dutch is a plus.
A results-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and the confidence to stand by your opinions.
