The Role

As a methodological advisor and applied education research thought partner, you will engage with the team throughout the project. Your support will be crucial in ensuring the research captures the realities of classroom implementation and pedagogical shifts.

Responsibilities

• Review and refine research questions and hypotheses.
• Advise on mixed-methods research design.
• Provide feedback on sampling strategies and data collection tools.
• Suggest classroom observation methods for skill-based learning environments.
• Strengthen research tools related to teacher practice and student engagement.
• Advise on qualitative research protocols, including interviews and focus groups.
• Ensure alignment between research design, vocational education goals, and teacher development outcomes.
• Support research rigor, methodological alignment, and ethical considerations.
• Assist with ethics and external IRB approval processes, when relevant.
• Enhance the credibility and actionability of research findings.

Requirements

• Experience in applied education research, vocational education, or mixed-methods studies.
• Familiarity with classroom observation, teacher interviews, or education implementation research.
