The Role

As a UX Research Intern in Demand, you will play a crucial role in understanding how buyers experience Catawiki throughout their journey. You'll support research across various topics and product areas, including new experiences like Catawiki Live. Your work will involve collaborating closely with UX Research, Product, Design, Engineering, and Data teams to transform customer behavior and insights into actionable product decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in qualitative and quantitative research throughout the buyer journey.
• Plan and conduct interviews, usability tests, surveys, and other research studies.
• Help define research questions and select appropriate methods for investigation.
• Support participant recruitment, prepare research materials, and facilitate sessions.
• Analyze findings and convert them into clear insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to ensure research informs product decisions.
• Partner with external research providers as necessary.
• Organize and synthesize existing research for easier reuse of insights.
• Make customer insights visible and accessible across the organization.
• Gain practical experience by combining qualitative research with behavioral and quantitative data.

Requirements

• Enrollment at a Dutch university for the entire internship period.
• Availability for a full-time six-month internship starting in September or October 2026.
• Strong interest in user experience and customer research.
• Some experience with qualitative or quantitative research through university, thesis, previous work, or relevant projects.
• Interest in methods such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, diary studies, and desk research.
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, behavioral science, human-computer interaction, industrial design, or a related field.
