The Role

As part of the Galley team, the Utility Staff is responsible for the cleanliness of crockery and the scullery, ensuring adherence to Viking's standards. You will report directly to the Executive Chef and Sous Chef.

Responsibilities

• Professionally clean crockery
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the scullery and dish-washing area
• Regularly clean the kitchen area as per supervisor instructions
• Separate and dispose of waste and garbage
• Assist supervisors in ordering cleaning materials and equipment
• Ensure perfect order and cleanliness in the working area according to HACCP standards
• Properly handle, clean, and maintain all equipment and products
• Conduct stock takes and inventory according to company procedures

Requirements

• Good spoken English skills; additional languages are a plus
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
• Ability to work independently, with a service-oriented and guest-focused attitude
• Impeccable grooming and hygiene standards
• Ability to walk extensively and stand for long periods
• Flexible, stress-resistant, and a committed team player
