In this role, you will combine your language skills with accuracy, process monitoring, and knowledge of labeling. You will ensure that product information for international markets is correct, complete, and available on time. We are looking for someone who works sharply and accurately, while keeping track of progress and making adjustments as needed. Your communication skills will help you achieve this effortlessly. You understand how a trading company operates and are eager to develop further within our team of three translators.

The Role

As a Translation and Labeling Specialist, you will ensure our labels are accurate: from translation and verification to formatting, ordering, and management. You will work with a variety of products, including cosmetics, cleaning products, and food. You will ensure that labels comply with legal regulations, customer agreements, and internal quality standards. Additionally, you will monitor the progress of label requests and coordinate daily with Legal, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, and Logistics to ensure everything is ready when repackaging begins.

Responsibilities

• Translate, verify, and manage product information and label texts.
• Coordinate the labeling process from delivery to final approval and monitor associated deadlines.
• Order labels, boxes, and other packaging materials.
• Request and compare quotes.
• Handle inquiries via the shared mailbox.
• Accurately process and manage data in our systems.
• Identify deviations and contribute to improving work processes.

Requirements

• HBO work and thinking level, preferably in a language study/linguistics.
• Native speaker or C1 level in at least one additional European language, plus a third language alongside Dutch and English.
• Good command of MS Office.
• Extremely accurate with an eye for detail.
• Ability to plan well, prioritize, and monitor multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills with various internal stakeholders.
• Solution-oriented mindset and take responsibility for the quality of your work.
• Residing within approximately 45 minutes of Oud-Beijerland.

• Salary indication: €2,750 – €3,250 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek, depending on knowledge and experience.
