As a Trading Systems Engineer for a global trading firm, you will utilize your technical expertise to support and enhance a complex trading environment. You will work closely with trading, infrastructure, and software engineering teams to maintain system reliability, troubleshoot issues, and improve operational efficiency. This role involves direct interaction with internal stakeholders and external market participants to ensure seamless technology operations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in trade support, site reliability engineering, production support, or a related field.
- Familiarity with trading environments, financial systems, or other mission-critical technology platforms.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with Linux/Unix environments.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python and Bash.
- Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries.
- Understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, multicast, and general network troubleshooting.
