Als Teeltspecialist Vollegrondsgewassen ben je verantwoordelijk voor de begeleiding van zaadproducties op verschillende locaties in de regio Westland, Bergsche Driehoek en West-Brabant. Je hebt je eigen groep van ongeveer 20 telers en fungeert als belangrijke sparringpartner gedurende de hele teelt. Je bent regelmatig op pad en staat letterlijk midden in de praktijk. De teelten vinden vooral plaats in kassen in de vollegrond, met een toenemende focus op substraatteelt, wat jouw werk afwisselend en inhoudelijk interessant maakt. Je adviseert telers over bodem- en substraatmanagement, bemesting, bestuiving, geïntegreerde gewasbescherming en oogst- en verwerkingsprocessen. Je observeert de teelt, analyseert kansen en vertaalt jouw kennis naar praktisch advies. Je werkt zelfstandig, maar zoekt ook actief samenwerking met collega's en telers. Je taken omvatten:
- Het begeleiden en evalueren van zaadproducties
- Het adviseren van telers over teelttechnische vraagstukken
- Het implementeren van een nieuw teeltmanagementsysteem
- Het verbeteren van teelt- en kwaliteitsprocessen
- Het delen van kennis en ontwikkelen van nieuwe inzichten binnen het team

Je gaat aan de slag op onze locatie De Vlaak in Maasdijk, waar je samenwerkt met ongeveer 15 collega's. Met vier andere teeltspecialisten begeleid je ieder je eigen groep telers. Je krijgt veel vrijheid en verantwoordelijkheid in je werk, terwijl je ook kunt rekenen op ondersteuning en kennisdeling binnen het team. De sfeer is professioneel, praktisch en betrokken, waardoor je jouw teeltkennis kunt inzetten en verder ontwikkelen.
