• Translate research questions and technical challenges into practical experimental plans and equipment configurations.
• Set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and adapt laboratory and pilot plant equipment to ensure safe and high-quality experimental outcomes.
• Integrate Ketjen's HSE standards into daily operations by proactively identifying hazards and implementing controls.
• Maintain pilot equipment and facilities, ensuring quality checks and accurate technical documentation.
• Collaborate proactively with technicians, scientists, engineers, and project teams to achieve project objectives.
• Record experimental conditions, observations, results, and conclusions accurately in LIMS and other data management systems.
• Organize, analyze, and statistically validate experimental data to draw robust technical conclusions.
• Support scale-up and plant trials by preparing equipment and evaluating process implications.
• Build and maintain detailed technical knowledge of HPC catalyst production routes and their impact on product performance.
• Adapt to evolving project priorities between laboratory work, pilot plant operations, and support for trial production.

• HBO working and thinking level in chemical technology, process technology, applied chemistry, or a comparable technical discipline, with 1-3 years of relevant practical experience.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience with laboratory, analytical, and pilot plant equipment.
• Strong safety awareness and disciplined approach to HSE requirements and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building effective relationships.
• Proficient in written Dutch and English for accurate documentation and reporting.
• Flexibility to manage changing priorities and diverse activities.
• Practical knowledge of experimental methods and measurement techniques relevant to catalyst or process development.
• Effective presentation skills to convey technical approaches and results.
• Solution-oriented thinking with creativity and initiative in problem-solving.
• Familiarity with software such as Microsoft Office, PI Vision, Sample Manager, LIMS, ELN, etc.
