The Role

You will inspect and maintain installations at our high voltage stations, ensuring they meet the growing energy demands. This unique position allows you to combine modern technology with systems that have been in place for decades. Safety is paramount, and you will only perform tasks for which you have the necessary qualifications. If you lack certain qualifications, you will obtain them through our internal training program. Those with experience will also mentor new colleagues in the field.

As a technician at Enexis, you will have responsibility and impact! You will help ensure our high voltage stations can handle the increasing energy demand while continuously developing your skills and supporting your colleagues' growth. Each day, you will travel from home to your workplace in your company van, where you will conduct maintenance and inspections on switches and power transformers (150 kV20/10kV) at high voltage stations. You will also work on projects, such as expansion or new construction projects at high voltage stations or use your expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with your team to ensure a stable, reliable, and expanding electricity network for Limburg.
• Participate in an internal training program lasting 1 to 2 years (depending on your knowledge and experience) to develop into a technician in medium and high voltage.

Requirements

• Strong focus on teamwork and results-oriented approach.
• Coaching and advisory skills.
• Completed MBO level 4 diploma in electrical engineering, mechatronics, measurement and control technology, or installation technology.
• Preferably experience as an (electro) technician.
• A valid driving license B.
• Willingness and enthusiasm to participate in on-call duty once every six weeks.
• Good knowledge of the Dutch language, both spoken and written, is essential for your safety and that of your colleagues.
