The Role

As a Building Automation Technician, you will focus on configuring, measuring, and adjusting automation installations within building management systems. You will work with great attention to detail and enjoy understanding system logic. You will also coordinate, control, and execute all tasks related to commissioning and maintaining measurement and control installations for our clients.

You will be part of a dynamic project team, involved in both new projects and service/maintenance tasks. With your technical expertise, you will ensure installations using Priva building automation systems function optimally. You will troubleshoot issues, provide clear explanations to clients, and proactively suggest improvements and comprehensive solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform commissioning tasks for measurement and control systems.
• Commission and inspect electrical and mechanical installations.
• Resolve technical faults and discrepancies.
• Ensure proper functional operation and performance of installations.
• Write programming, conduct measurements, and test installations.
• Instruct and advise clients on the use of installations.
• Provide revision data and report on completed tasks and improvement proposals.
• Take responsibility for quality, safety, and work within the agreed budget.
• Maintain sustainable client relationships and identify additional work opportunities.

About the Company

The base location is Bunnik, but in this hybrid role, you will work with clients in Apeldoorn, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, and Bunnik. We always consider which tasks are in your region to minimize travel time.

• A salary between €3,500 and €5,100 gross per 4 weeks based on 40 hours, depending on knowledge and experience, excluding 8% holiday pay.

Requirements

You are eager to learn, technically skilled, and enjoy developing further in measurement and control technology. You combine technical knowledge with a service-oriented and customer-friendly approach and remain calm under pressure.

Additionally:

• A vocational education in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics.
• Affinity with technology and interest in measurement and control technology.
• Optional: Experience with or knowledge of Priva building automation.
• Good command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
