The Role

The Technical Training Specialist will be responsible for creating, developing, and implementing effective technical training programs tailored to both external clients and internal technical personnel. This role acts as a bridge between product teams, subject matter experts, and learners, ensuring that complex software functionalities are conveyed in an engaging and accessible manner.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and conduct instructor-led system administration training sessions for external clients, covering installation, configuration, user management, and daily operations of the platform.
• Adjust delivery styles and content to suit varying audience expertise, from novice users to experienced IT administrators.
• Perform pre-training assessments and post-training evaluations to ensure learning objectives are met and improved upon.
• Serve as a product knowledge resource during training, addressing technical inquiries and escalating issues as necessary.
• Design and create self-paced training courses for electronic delivery using various authoring tools.
• Script, storyboard, record, and edit course materials, including video walkthroughs and interactive simulations.
• Publish and maintain courses in the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accuracy and version control.
• Collaborate with the Services Organizational Readiness Team to identify training needs for new product launches and updates.
• Develop and conduct internal technical training sessions to prepare customer-facing staff for new releases.
• Convert complex engineering specifications into clear training content for technical audiences.
• Work with Technical Writers to create standardized training templates and maintain quality across all training materials.
• Engage and guide internal subject matter experts in transforming technical knowledge into learner-ready content.
• Maintain a repository of knowledge assets sourced from SMEs and ensure content remains up-to-date.

Requirements

Required

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in technical training, instructional design, or a similar role within a technology environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of Linux, MySQL, and Microsoft SQL.
• Proven experience delivering instructor-led technical training to diverse audiences.
• Hands-on experience with eLearning content development using tools like Articulate 360 or Adobe Captivate.
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems for course management and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, product management, and customer-facing teams.

Preferred

• Familiarity with medical software, specifically RIS or PACS.
• Experience with New Product Introduction training programs.
• Knowledge of instructional design methodologies.
• Background in software system administration.
• Relevant certifications in instructional design or technical domains.
• Experience in building internal knowledge-sharing programs.

What We Offer

• Competitive salary between €55,000 and €75,000 or £45,000 and £55,000.
