A fintech startup is revolutionizing payment and access infrastructure with palm-biometric technology, allowing users to pay and unlock doors with just their hands. Operating in hospitality and fitness venues across the UK and Ireland, they are looking for a Technical Product Manager who can seamlessly integrate strategic product vision with technical execution.

In this unique position, you will own the product roadmap and actively prototype features. Collaborating closely with founders and engineers, you will translate commercial priorities into actionable plans across various platforms, including terminals, kiosks, iPads, and merchant apps. This role emphasizes hands-on involvement, utilizing Claude Code and other AI coding tools to prototype and deliver features directly.

• Be responsible for the product roadmap from start to finish, converting commercial priorities into actionable plans.
• Prototype and implement features using Claude Code and other AI coding tools.
• Actively participate in architectural discussions and interpret API schemas.
• Write clear and detailed specifications.
• Oversee the complete delivery process from backlog to successful launch.
• Manage and mentor engineers, promoting their growth and effective teamwork.
• Work across multiple platforms: physical hardware (terminals, kiosks), iPads, merchant applications, and payment software.

Vereisten

• 3–5 years of experience in Product Management or Data roles within a dynamic startup or scale-up environment.
• Proven ability to write code using AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar) with real technical judgment.
• Strong proficiency in API design, able to read schemas and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Demonstrated experience in owning product roadmaps, writing detailed specifications, and managing end-to-end delivery in fast-paced settings.
• Experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
• Fluent in English, as it is the working language of the team, requiring daily communication with founders and the UK/Ireland team.

Nice to Have

• Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Previous experience in the fintech or payments industry.
• Familiarity with fast-paced product cultures such as Revolut, Monzo, Trade Republic, N26, or Wise.
• Experience with hardware-component products (terminals, kiosks, biometrics, IoT).
