This position serves as the technical authority on future technologies, assessing innovations, identifying gaps, and making clear recommendations for adoption.
The Role
You will be advising the program director on future deployable communications technologies, assessing current systems, and performing capability gap analyses. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing technical recommendations for modernization initiatives.
- Participating in architecture reviews and supporting strategic planning.
- Evaluating commercial and government-developed technologies for deployment.
- Producing technical evaluation reports and delivering briefings.
- Assessing how future technologies integrate with existing architectures and legacy systems.
- Supporting operational test and evaluation, reviewing post-exercise findings.
- Conducting technical risk assessments and recommending mitigations.
