In Nuenen, we produce daily for diverse industrial market segments such as bakeries, fast food chains, hospitality, and catering companies. Together with about 150 colleagues, we strive for safe, high-quality, and timely production of our products for customers. In this role as Team Leader Production, you will ensure that the production process runs optimally!

What We Ask

• HBO work and thinking level;
• You must have at least a completed technical education at MBO level 4, preferably a completed HBO education or be willing to obtain it;
• We expect you to have a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in a production environment;
• Knowledge of Office programs and ERP systems, preferably SAP;
• You have a strong affinity for production, technology, and especially people;
• Experience in the food industry is a plus;
• Experience with improvement methodologies (such as 5S) is a plus.

Employment conditions:

• Salary between €3898.65 and €4816.48 gross per month (full-time), plus a shift allowance of 28.9%, depending on experience and suitability for the role;
• A workweek of 36 hours, 5% year-end bonus, and a good pension scheme;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (max. 30 km one way);
• 209 hours of leave per year;

Vacancy Description

As Team Leader, you know the process inside out, where the bottlenecks are, and how to solve them in collaboration with your team. You take the lead in improvement projects and effectively engage all stakeholders in your narrative. With your foundation, FrieslandCampina continues to build towards a more efficient, faster, sustainable, and high-quality production location.

How will you do this?

• You work closely with the Production Manager, fellow Team Leaders, and other stakeholders such as Technical Department, Quality Assurance, Planning, HR, and SHE.
• You lead a group of 14 FTE.
• You take responsibility for results and the training of your team.
• You lead improvement projects and ensure enhancements in OEE, safety, and quality.

What You Bring

A significant amount of knowledge in stakeholder management, combined with your experience in a production environment and your communication skills, allows you to switch quickly at different levels. You are pragmatic, capable of analyzing, and translating your findings to both upper management and the shop floor. You act as a role model in safety, quality, and efficiency.

This role is part of the Production team in Nuenen. The production team consists of approximately 80 people, of which you are responsible for a team of 15 operators.
