Job Mission

As the Team Leader for Outbound Large Pack, your primary mission is to organize, inspire, develop, and lead your team to ensure a high-performance and cost-efficient logistics operation. You will set priorities, delegate tasks, and develop your team while identifying and resolving potential bottlenecks. The Large Pack team is responsible for packing large materials from the factory. This position is ideal for those looking to grow in their career, as you will initiate and lead several improvement initiatives to elevate the Outbound Large Pack operation's performance. Job Description

The Team Leader for Large Pack is responsible for:

• Safety: Ensuring a safe working environment for the Large Pack team.
• Quality: Securing the required quality of delivered output and implementing improvement plans for your department.
• Operational Performance: Leading your team to meet delivery reliability, cycle time, and cost targets. Solving problems, setting priorities, and ensuring operational objectives are achieved. Informing stakeholders of any deviations and reporting regularly on performance versus targets.
• Support: Organizing all supporting processes to ensure timely deliverables.
• Infrastructure: Ensuring the necessary infrastructure for effective and efficient logistics execution.
• Management: Organizing and staffing adequately to achieve output at optimized cost levels. Executing HR&O policies and procedures, coaching and developing team members, setting targets, delegating tasks, solving problems, and fostering a productive work environment.
• Continuous Improvement: Initiating and implementing organizational improvements for the Outbound Large Pack operation in processes, products, and people capabilities. Driving improvement projects and organizing opportunities for employees to contribute to the Logistics Operations mission and vision. Supporting and leading LEAN improvements, including 5S+1, and contributing to cross-sector improvement projects.
• Collaboration: Collaborating effectively with other Logistics Operation teams, ASML departments, and Logistics Service Providers.

Education

MBO+/HBO level in logistics discipline or industrial/business engineering.

Experience

The candidate must have extensive knowledge and experience, including:

• A minimum of 3 years in a leading position within warehouse logistics or comparable logistics functions.
• Knowledge of warehousing and supporting processes.
• SAP ECC/EWM knowledge.
• Problem analysis and assessing potential solutions for feasibility and impact on the overall process.
• Organizing, developing, and coaching teams.
• Continuous process improvement.

Personal Skills

• Enthusiastic people leader with good interpersonal skills, motivator, team builder, and coach.
• Effective communication, collaboration, and presentation skills in both English and Dutch.
• Customer-oriented, goal-oriented, flexible, and proactive.
• Capable of thinking in end-to-end processes and understanding the bigger picture.

• Experience with change management (both process and people-related).

Context of the Position

The Logistics Operation department at ASML is responsible for both inbound logistics (receipt, storage, inspection, picking, cleaning & kitting, and delivery to production) and outbound logistics (planning, cleaning, labeling, packing, and shipment of ASML’s products) for all Veldhoven factories.

Working Location

The Netherlands, Veldhoven. The Team Leader Outbound Large Pack will work in a support shift, leading a team of approximately 15 FTE in a support schedule (2 shifts). This position reports to the Manager Outbound.

A certificate of conduct (‘Verklaring van Geen Bezwaar’, VGB) and successful completion of the ‘Known Consignor training’ (Medewerker Luchtvracht) are required.
