As a Team Leader in Horticulture at Rijk Zwaan, you will oversee pollination operations in a modern seed production environment, ensuring quality and coaching teams. Join us in De Lier and contribute to global food supply with a focus on people and processes.
Als Team Leader Horticulture geef je dagelijks leiding aan de bestuivingswerkzaamheden van onze vruchtgewassen. Je zorgt voor een heldere planning en organisatie en bewaakt dat het werk zorgvuldig en volgens de afgesproken kwaliteitsnormen wordt uitgevoerd. Samen met de andere teamleider ben je verantwoordelijk voor de aansturing van circa 75 medewerkers, verdeeld over 6 locaties in Nederland. In het hoogseizoen groeit dit team uit tot maximaal 200 seizoenskrachten, aan wie je indirect leidinggeeft. Jij richt je daarbij op onze eigen locatie, terwijl je collega de vijf externe locaties aanstuurt. Samen werken jullie doelgericht aan de hoogst mogelijke kwaliteit, met blijvende aandacht voor een prettige en veilige werkomgeving. Jij gaat aan de slag met:
Verantwoordelijkheden
- Mensgericht begeleiden en coachen van coördinatoren, die ieder hun eigen teams aansturen.
- Opstellen en bewaken van de arbeidsplanning op basis van de productieplanning.
- Afstemmen van de inzet van flexibele medewerkers in samenwerking met uitzendbureaus.
- Analyseren van kwaliteitsresultaten en organiseren en leiden van kwaliteitsbijeenkomsten.
- Signaleren van verbetermogelijkheden en deze oppakken in verbeterprojecten.
- Zorgen voor een veilige werkomgeving waarbij hygiëne-, arbo- en milieueisen worden nageleefd.
