In this role, you will manage the staff at the drop-in centers in Goes and Middelburg. You will be responsible for daily operations, coaching employees, and fostering collaboration and development. Your leadership will be recovery-oriented and strength-based. You will maintain contact with municipalities, housing corporations, mental health institutions, and other partners. Additionally, you will represent the Salvation Army in the region and actively contribute to the further development of both facilities, reporting to the regional manager.

About the Drop-in Centers

Drop-in Goes: Located on Oostwal, this center serves as a day shelter for individuals with complex social and psychological issues, offering opportunities for connection, daily activities, guidance, and support for addiction, debt, housing, loneliness, or mild intellectual disabilities. This location also provides support for emergency shelter across three sites with a total of nine spots.

Drop-in Middelburg: In Middelburg, you will contribute to building a new drop-in center. This accessible meeting place offers support to individuals needing temporary or long-term assistance. Visitors can find a place for connection, meals, conversations, or support regarding housing, finances, and mental well-being. Professional guidance towards recovery is available as needed. The facility operates Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:00.
