Newrest is seeking a dedicated Team Leader to assist the Unit Coordinator in overseeing daily operations, ensuring accountability for achieving operational goals. The Team Leader will uphold excellent service standards to enhance client experience and guarantee the safety and security of the site and its assets.

• Ensure all equipment meets airline specifications for packing.
• Achieve required throughput in the dish room.
• Provide timely equipment to internal customers.
• Record and monitor wash machine temperatures.
• Maintain waste compacting and removal equipment in good condition.
• Adhere to airline-specific deadhead procedures and manage surplus equipment storage.
• Conduct quality checks on equipment, segregating damaged items as per airline specifications.
• Plan and manage team output to meet targets.
• Maintain housekeeping standards at all times (Clean as you go).
• Follow unit safety measures and inflight services security compliance.
• Manage chemical and equipment stock levels, tracking orders and deliveries.
• Lead the Hygiene Team to complete hygiene schedules, ensuring high standards are maintained through effective resource deployment and continuous improvement.
• Re-evaluate cleaning procedures and equipment in line with best practices and legislation.
• Ensure clear communication regarding hygiene standards across shifts to optimize performance.
• Define individual expectations within the team.
• Perform monthly deep cleans in each department.
• Interact professionally with colleagues and clients on-site.
• Comply with all corporate social responsibility initiatives.
• Adhere to QHSE policies and procedures.
• Understand and follow Newrest's non-negotiables at all times.
• Report accidents, hazards, and near misses in accordance with Newrest requirements.
• Stay informed and compliant with any policy changes or updates.
• Undertake any additional duties as assigned by your manager.
