You will ensure that our factory's extrusion lines are always supplied with the correct components, facilitating smooth and safe operations for your team.

The Role

As a Team Leader, you will be the point of contact on the floor, supervising three employees, distributing tasks, and monitoring progress and quality. You will ensure that components are prepared, checked, and delivered on time, maintaining oversight and intervening when necessary to ensure the department runs smoothly. This hands-on role requires you to actively participate in the process, making experience with conventional turning and milling essential. You should be capable of independently operating conventional lathes and milling machines, producing precise components according to drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the quality and condition of components.
• Record the condition and usability of components in the system.
• Manage inventory levels.
• Collaborate closely with operators, technical services, and planning to prevent disruptions and support line output.
• Maintain oversight, identify bottlenecks, and ensure the team is ready each day.
• Be visible on the floor, providing guidance, motivation, and ensuring a safe and tidy working environment.
• Contribute to building a department focused on structure, quality, and collaboration.

Approximately 25% of your time will be spent on management, planning, and organizational tasks, while 75% will involve hands-on work, utilizing your craftsmanship.

Requirements

We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague with an MBO-4 qualification in a technical field, preferably in metal technology. You should be flexible, customer-oriented, and enjoy working in a team. Demonstrable experience in metalworking and experience in leading or coordinating colleagues is essential. You prioritize working neatly, safely, and accurately, and are willing to further develop your skills through training and education.
