In your role as Team Coordinator Pollination, you will ensure that the department's work is organized effectively every day. You will oversee the planning and staffing, provide direction to the team, and be present on the work floor. You will communicate with various colleagues, monitor quality, and ensure that team members understand their expectations. Additionally, you will identify areas for improvement and help implement practical changes.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and allocate daily and weekly pollination tasks, monitor progress, and adjust priorities as circumstances change.
- Onboard new colleagues, provide explanations, motivate, and guide them as necessary, focusing on teamwork, employability, development, and a positive work atmosphere.
- Ensure that pollination tasks, such as crossings and self-pollinations, are executed carefully and according to agreed procedures. Identify deviations and ensure they are addressed.
- Collaborate with coordinators, growers, cultivation colleagues, staffing agencies, and the (Assistant) Station Manager regarding planning, staffing, priorities, and key issues.
- Identify bottlenecks and opportunities in processes, planning, facilities, and resources, and assist in implementing practical improvements. Ensure that knowledge and work instructions are well shared and maintained within the team.
