POSITION SUMMARY:

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage promotional activities within your territory, including the full sales process and local marketing initiatives.
• Engage with theatre-based staff, including surgeons and procurement professionals, providing clinical support and education.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons in the clinical environment, advising on product use during procedures and gathering feedback.
• Handle contracts, negotiate with procurement, and participate in marketing and training events both domestically and internationally.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• A strong academic background is essential, demonstrating the ability to grasp complex scientific and clinical information.
• This role is ideal for self-motivated individuals who excel with autonomy and possess a technical aptitude for challenging products.
• Candidates should be team players with strong analytical skills and a good level of IT literacy, confident in working with clinicians in various scenarios.
• Knowledge of the Netherlands healthcare market is required, along with surgical sales experience.
• Candidates must reside within the territory.

SPECIALISED SKILLS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in surgical sales, particularly in laparoscopy and its subspecialties, is preferred.
• Proficiency in English is necessary, and existing relationships with surgeons and OR staff are advantageous.
• A solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and surgical procedures is expected, with a focus on being OR-based 60% of the time.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication are essential.
• Excellent organizational and planning abilities, along with adaptability to change, are crucial for success in this role.

TRAVEL REQUIRED:

• Minimum 80% travel.
