The Surface Treatment Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the daily production process runs smoothly and efficiently while upholding quality standards and fostering employee development. You will work in shifted hours: one week from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, and Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM; the following week from Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and Friday from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities

Manage production based on the daily schedule in a hands-on role.
Motivate, coach, and manage the team to achieve set goals.
Direct production according to priorities and in consultation with planning.
Perform necessary preparatory work to prevent or resolve bottlenecks timely.
Guide new colleagues during their onboarding process.
Participate in weekly maintenance with team members.
Provide technical and work-method support to employees.
Ensure Continuous Improvement and Daily Management within the department, initiating improvement actions.
Comply with safety, occupational health & safety, and quality regulations.

Requirements

MBO+ level in various technical disciplines, with additional job-specific education and training.
Knowledge of the production process and standards, capable of observing and reporting essential data.
Proactive attitude, strong analytical skills, persuasiveness, and the authority to manage employees and processes.
Proficient in Dutch (spoken and written); English speaking proficiency required; German is a plus.

ATM Oirschot has specialized since 1986 in the finishing treatment of products made from various materials, both ferrous and non-ferrous, including anodizing, hard anodizing, pickling, passivation, chromating, cleanroom cleaning, and packaging. In 2024, ATM will open a location at the Brainport Campus in Eindhoven.
