As a Supply Chain Planner at Stryker, you will manage international inventory to ensure optimal service levels while minimizing costs. This hybrid role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to work with global stakeholders.
In your new role as a Supply Chain Planner, you will contribute to Stryker’s success by effectively managing the International EMEA Inventory (both free and consignment stock) to achieve optimal service levels at the lowest total cost of ownership.
The Role
You will be responsible for purchasing saleable goods from Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) suppliers, handling orders, customer care communication related to the Orthopedic product portfolio, and managing outstanding purchase orders and aging reports. Additionally, you will address invoice issues and drive supplier evaluations by gathering performance data. You will collaborate with business leaders and supply sites, working closely with manufacturing and operations partners to reconcile inventory levels. The demand planner will provide forecasts for safety stock settings, and investment decisions will be made in collaboration with Supply Chain and Medical business leaders. Your role will ensure timely delivery of high-quality purchases by SKU and product line, requiring you to assemble and analyze data pertinent to creating the supply forecast, including historical data, manufacturing and purchasing batch sizes, seasonality, working calendars, and inventory levels. You will utilize Supply Chain Planning tools and technologies while suggesting improvements to enhance the current planning process.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a Demand or Supply Planner in an international environment.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain solutions, with experience in continuous/process improvement.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Proficient with multiple operating systems, including Oracle e-Business Suite or other ERP systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage diverse activities in a dynamic environment.
- High level of integrity, responsibility, and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data and trends from various sources and formats.
