Robeco is home to one of Europe’s largest quantitative teams, comprising over 50 dedicated researchers and portfolio managers across equity, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies. Our team specializes in developing proprietary security selection and allocation/market timing models, along with portfolio construction algorithms, while also supporting portfolio managers in risk management and performance attribution.
The Role
As a Super Quant Intern, you will work on the entire lifecycle of quantitative model development, either as part of your master’s thesis or as a standalone research internship. This full-time internship typically lasts around six months, with flexibility based on your university’s requirements and the scope of your research.
You will gain practical experience in data analysis, programming, interpreting results, and presenting your findings. Each project is supervised by an experienced researcher, many of whom hold a PhD or CFA charter and are affiliated with academic institutions from one of our teams: Quantitative Research, Trading Research, or Investment Solutions.
In addition to thesis-based projects, we offer non-thesis internship topics suitable for students whose programs do not require a thesis, those preferring practical experience, or those whose thesis is unrelated to the internship topic.
Beyond research, the program includes engaging activities and provides insight into life at Robeco and the broader asset management industry.
