The Role

We are strengthening our business development team and recruiting a Strategic Business Developer (F/H) for a permanent position in the Netherlands. As a key member of the commercial team, you will help shape INOCEL’s market positioning and long-term growth, enjoying significant autonomy and influence in strategic decisions and new business development.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new prospects.
• Conduct prospecting actions (cold calling, emailing, trade shows, etc.).
• Build, develop, and manage a client portfolio.
• Manage the sales cycle effectively.
• Analyze customer needs and propose suitable technical and commercial solutions.
• Prepare commercial proposals and lead negotiations.
• Ensure full follow-up of opportunities until contract signature.
• Support customers throughout project execution.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
• Provide regular reporting of commercial activity (CRM, dashboards).
• Monitor market trends in hydrogen and the broader energy transition sector.
• Represent INOCEL at trade shows, conferences, industrial events, and round tables to strengthen brand visibility.

Requirements

• Degree in Sales or a technical background with proven business abilities.
• At least 5 years of experience in business development for complex products.
• Solid experience in the generator sector, ideally with hydrogen generators or high-power energy solutions (>100 kW).
• Strong understanding of energy-related challenges and technologies.
• Competitive mindset, persuasive abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Autonomy, rigor, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Proficiency with CRM tools.
