The Role

On a daily basis at JD, you will:

• Lead by example: Support and inspire the team on the shop floor, fostering a positive and energetic environment where teamwork thrives.
• Support target achievement: Drive sales and contribute to the store's performance and profitability goals.
• Ensure customer service excellence: Make every customer feel welcome and encourage repeat visits through top-level service.
• Provide operations support: Assist in day-to-day store operations, ensuring processes and standards are consistently followed.
• Maintain visual merchandising: Help uphold high visual standards, ensuring the store always looks engaging and on-brand.
• Develop your team: Coach and support team members to improve their skills and performance.
• Represent JD culture & standards: Ensure the team reflects the brand's energy and style.
• Support people: Assist with onboarding new team members and ensure HR policies are adhered to.
• Prioritize safety: Help ensure all safety procedures are followed at all times.

Requirements

To join JD, you need:

• Experience: Previous experience in retail, ideally in a supervisory or team-leading role.
• Team player mindset: Ability to motivate and support others.
• Top communication skills: Confident verbal and written communication.
• Tech skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel is a plus.
