We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused Store Supervisor to help lead our Rotterdam store team. As a key member of the store leadership team, you will support daily operations, inspire colleagues through example, and deliver exceptional experiences for every customer who walks through our doors.

The Role

As Store Supervisor, you'll play an active role on the shop floor while supporting the Store Manager in driving commercial success and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and provide outstanding customer service.
• Create a welcoming and engaging store environment for every customer.
• Coach, motivate, and support team members in their day-to-day activities.
• Drive sales performance through proactive customer engagement and product recommendations.
• Support daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor visual merchandising standards and ensure the store reflects the Timberland brand.
• Manage operational tasks such as stock handling, replenishment, and general store organization.
• Assist with team scheduling, task delegation, and floor coverage when required.
• Ensure company policies, procedures, and health & safety guidelines are consistently followed.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail, hospitality, or customer-facing supervisory role.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and coach others through a positive and collaborative approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to identify priorities and take initiative.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to balance customer service, team leadership, and operational responsibilities.

Availability

This is a 30-hour per week position. Availability on at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) is required. Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and peak trading periods is essential.

Language Skills

English proficiency is required. Dutch language skills are considered a strong advantage.

Hiring Range:

€27,361.60 EUR - €34,202.00 EUR annually. Incentive Potential: This position is eligible for additional compensation awards that may include an annual incentive plan, sales incentive, or commission potential.
