Are you someone who enjoys getting hands-on in the kitchen? As a Stewarding Team Member, you will ensure that everything runs smoothly behind the scenes at our restaurant HitchHike. Your responsibilities will include keeping the kitchen clean, washing dishes, replenishing supplies, and assisting with various kitchen tasks to support the team in their performance.

About the Company

We pride ourselves on having a flat organization with a close-knit kitchen team of six dedicated chefs, led by our Head Chef.

The Role

You will maintain a clean and tidy workplace, ensuring it is spotless at the end of your shift. To maintain consistent quality in our kitchen, you will also assist with unpacking deliveries and managing storage. We are looking for a flexible steward to join our team on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Keep the kitchen clean and organized.
• Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness.
• Replenish supplies as needed.
• Assist with unpacking deliveries and storage.

Requirements

• Strong team player.
• Flexible attitude and availability.
• Ability to work under stress.
• Enthusiastic and motivated.
• Knowledge of HACCP.
