As a Steward, you will operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines and pot-scrubbing stations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Washing and disinfecting kitchen and store room areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment.
• Receiving deliveries, storing perishables properly, and rotating stock.
• Ensuring clean wares are stored in appropriate areas.
• Using detergent and sanitizing chemicals to clean dishes in the 3-compartment sink.
• Inspecting, pulling, and stacking cleaned items, sending soiled items back for re-scrubbing and re-washing.
• Emptying and maintaining trashcans and the dumpster area.
• Cleaning and mopping all assigned areas.
• Following safety and security policies and procedures, reporting maintenance needs and unsafe work conditions.
• Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others and ensuring adherence to quality expectations.
