We are seeking a STEM Researcher to join one of our clients on a full-time basis. In this remote role, you will design and solve complex STEM problems to explore the limitations of large language models, producing clear and high-quality solutions with well-articulated reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Design and solve complex STEM problems to investigate the limitations of large language models. • Create clear, high-quality, step-by-step solutions with well-articulated reasoning. • Collaborate with LLM researchers to align problems with evaluation goals, focusing on abstraction, multi-step reasoning, and symbolic manipulation. • Assist in defining new evaluation benchmarks based on physics curricula from early undergraduate to PhD-level topics. • Utilize AI to enhance analytical capabilities and support career growth in an AI-driven environment.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in STEM, particularly at the engineering entrance exam or graduate/PhD level. • Ability to simplify complex STEM concepts into clear explanations. • Creative and lateral thinking to tackle challenging problems. • Excellent structured communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting. • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, possessing a reliable desktop/laptop and internet connection.
