The Role

In this position, you will act as a strategic partner to the sales team, architecting solutions that address complex infrastructure challenges for prospective customers. Your role involves collaborating with Product, Sales, and Support to translate technical architecture into a foundation for long-term success on the platform.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate the sales process by leading technical discussions with CTOs and mapping application ecosystems to our platform.
• Serve as a technical authority through demos and deep dives into Laravel Cloud’s performance and security capabilities.
• Lead evaluations and production pilots, managing the technical journey from trial environments to seamless production rollouts.
• Guide the buying journey by translating technical success into business ROI and managing security reviews.
• Influence the platform by providing actionable product feedback and representing Laravel in the community through events and technical content.
• Create tools and processes to scale sales operations effectively.

Requirements

• Practical engineering experience in building and shipping production apps, with a strong understanding of AWS and deployment nuances.
• Architectural expertise in cloud technologies, including networking and database tuning.
• Composure to handle complex system discussions and live code reviews.
• Effective communication skills to explain technical concepts to various stakeholders.
• A partner mindset focused on long-term customer value.
• Team-oriented approach to support sales partners and advocate for customers.
• Agility to thrive in a startup environment and willingness to travel for customer meetings or conferences.
