As Social Media Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the public identity of a fast-growing startup focused on sustainability and travel. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy, creating compelling content, and documenting the company’s journey as it launches smart water refill stations across the country. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a social media strategy tailored to platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Create, schedule, and publish engaging content that highlights the company’s mission, milestones, and impact.
• Document the startup’s growth journey through visual and written storytelling.
• Collaborate closely with the founder to ensure brand consistency and authenticity.
• Monitor social media trends and audience engagement to optimize content and strategy.
• Report on key performance metrics and adjust tactics as needed.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts for brands, startups, or organizations.
• Strong content creation skills, including copywriting, photography, and/or video editing.
• Proficiency with social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Creative mindset with a passion for sustainability, travel, and storytelling.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Familiarity with the Sri Lankan hospitality or travel sector is a plus.
