The Role

As a Signal Integrity/Power Integrity Engineer, you will play a crucial role in advancing AI/ML hardware acceleration through innovative TPU technology. Your responsibilities will include developing custom silicon solutions, verifying complex digital designs with a focus on TPU architecture, and ensuring optimal SI/PI performance from concept to production. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Chip Design, IP, System Design, software, and vendors.

Responsibilities

Lead signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis and optimization for High-Performance Computing (HPC) using advanced 2.5D/3D packaging technologies.
Influence chip floorplanning, power distribution networks (PDN/power trees), netlists, and routability tradeoffs during early product definition.
Evaluate high-speed interface IPs and develop next-generation memory interfaces across IO PHY, SI/PI, and physical design boundaries.
Drive post-silicon validation and qualification for NPI, balancing SI/PI performance and DFM constraints for final package design closure.
Collaborate closely with silicon, system, and external vendor teams to enhance simulation methodologies for improved modeling accuracy and efficiency.
