Shift Lead Offshore - HKW VII, Den Helder at Vestas

The Service Sales team collaborates across various functions in an international setting to support Vestas' strategy for profitable growth.

The Role

As a Shift Lead Offshore, you will report to the Service Manager and be part of the Service team for the Hollandse Kust West VII windfarm, operating from Den Helder. Your role involves managing daily operations from one of our service operation vessels (SOV) on a rotational basis, focusing on HSE, production performance, operations, maintenance, and team development.

Responsibilities

Oversee all offshore operations, including production planning and performance.
Plan and execute servicing and maintenance schedules.
Manage employee line development and uphold conduct and culture aboard the SOV.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
Facilitate technical meetings and manage crew interfaces.
Develop contingency plans for vessel operations and manage windfarm downtime.
Promote a positive safety culture through turbine inspections and safety audits.
Focus on continuous improvement in service duration and first-time fix rates.
Participate in briefings and coordinate upgrade campaigns.
Act as the escalation point for offshore or vessel-related issues.
Supervise subcontractor management onboard the vessel.

Requirements

3 years of leadership and management experience, with a background in electrical or mechanical systems in the offshore industry.
Willingness to travel as needed to meet business requirements.
Ability to handle unexpected challenges with maturity and efficiency.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to seeking assistance.
Valid driver's license.

Competencies

Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
IT skills: SAP, Dynamics, Oracle, Word, Excel, Outlook.
Strategic decision-making with a focus on safety and quality.
