Join our high-tech MRO environment as a Sheet Metal Worker, focusing on the repair and modification of aircraft components. Your precision work ensures the safety and reliability of aircraft worldwide.

As a Sheet Metal Worker for Aircraft Components, you will operate in a cutting-edge MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) setting, dedicated to the repair, overhaul, and modification of aircraft components. Your role involves executing precision sheet metal work on structural parts and components, adhering to stringent aviation standards, repair manuals, and technical instructions. Your contributions are vital for the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of aircraft components utilized globally.

The Role

You will collaborate closely with technicians and engineers within our CMRO (Component Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) organization, ensuring high-quality repairs and ongoing process enhancements. Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting inspections and intake checks of aircraft components, documenting findings and deviations.
Repairing, overhauling, and modifying components per structural repair manuals, service bulletins, and technical instructions.
Shaping, forming, fitting, and restoring parts made of aluminium, steel, and composites.
Performing precision sheet metal work using specialized tools and techniques.
Recording completed work on repair cards and in maintenance systems.
Adhering to strict aviation quality standards, safety procedures, and approved repair methods.
Collaborating with the CMRO team and contributing to process improvements.

Requirements

We seek a hands-on technician with a keen eye for detail and a passion for precision materials. The ideal candidate will possess:

A completed MBO education in metalworking, aircraft maintenance, mechanics, or a related technical field.
Knowledge of or experience in sheet metal work, preferably in an aircraft maintenance or component repair environment.
Understanding of technical manuals, repair methods, and safety regulations.
Strong manual skills and precision in technical tasks.
Proficiency in English, particularly for reading and applying technical documentation.
