We are looking for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our workshop team. The employee will manufacture and assemble thin sheet metal products according to technical drawings and specifications, primarily used as protective cladding for insulation of industrial pipelines, ventilation ducts, valves, flanges, tanks, and other equipment. This is a workshop-based fabrication position, not involving roofing or general construction work.

Main Responsibilities

• Read and comprehend technical drawings and fabrication details.
• Measure, mark, and prepare thin sheet metal parts.
• Cut, bend, roll, and form sheet metal.
• Manufacture cylindrical and custom-shaped cladding components.
• Produce covers for pipes, elbows, valves, flanges, tees, and industrial equipment.
• Form edges, seams, stiffening beads, and connection details.
• Assemble products using rivets, screws, locks, and sheet metal joints.
• Check dimensions and ensure the quality of finished products.
• Operate sheet metal fabrication machinery and hand tools.

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Practical experience with thin sheet metal.
• Ability to read and work independently from technical drawings.
• Skills in measuring, marking, cutting, bending, rolling, and assembling sheet metal products.
• Experience with stainless steel, aluminium, or galvanized steel sheets.
• Familiarity with sheet metal rollers, bending machines, cutting machines, beading or swaging machines, and hand tools.
• Capability to manufacture a complete product independently.
• Attention to detail and dimensional accuracy.
• Responsible attitude and commitment to quality.
• Basic English skills for understanding drawings and work instructions.
• Valid legal right to work in [country of employment].

Strong Advantage

• Previous experience producing sheet metal cladding for industrial insulation.
• Experience manufacturing covers for pipelines, elbows, valves, flanges, tees, or tanks.
• Ability to prepare or understand sheet metal patterns and developments.
• Experience producing removable insulation covers or custom-made sheet metal boxes.

We are not seeking roofers, welders, duct installers, or general construction workers. Only candidates with practical experience in thin sheet metal fabrication and the ability to manufacture products independently from technical drawings will be considered. Candidates may be asked to complete a practical skills test.
