MAVA: On the A15 between Rotterdam and Europoort, 111,000 vehicles pass through the Botlektunnel daily. The A15 is a crucial connection between the expanding Rotterdam port and industrial area and the European hinterland. From 2016 to 2035, project MAVA is responsible for maintaining the Botlek bridge and tunnel, Thomassentunnel, and managing the approximately 37 kilometers of the A15 highway from Stenen Baakplein (Maasvlakte) to beyond the Vaanplein junction.
