The Senior Specialist, Event Planning is responsible for managing events for franchises within the country. This role involves overseeing all operational processes related to events, ensuring a 'Best in Class' service is created and maintained. You will implement solutions to enhance Franchise and Healthcare Professional (HCP) satisfaction, maximize cost efficiency, particularly regarding flights and logistics, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations across Europe.

• Collaborate with various business functions, including business units, compliance, and finance, to achieve key activities at local, European, and cross-divisional levels.
• Engage directly with the sales force and product managers for regular event reviews.
• Utilize all necessary virtual event platforms required by the business.
• Maintain regular communication with event owners to discuss current and future events.
• Ensure HCP invitations are sent following the correct compliance processes as dictated by local regulations.
• Manage HCP information storage in compliance with GDPR and other policies.
• Conduct regular reviews of processes to ensure updates to regulations and compliance policies are implemented.
• Oversee supplier account management and ensure timely event invoicing and payments.
• Coordinate event logistics for timely booking of flights and hotels.
• Monitor and achieve all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
• Assist in fostering a culture of continuous improvement in service delivery to customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with other functions to leverage opportunities across areas.
• Ensure adherence to compliance, SOX, FCPA, and quality policies in all event planning activities.
