About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Software Development Manager to join our Enterprise Digital Solutions team. This individual contributor role involves designing, developing, and maintaining applications across the full technology stack, from intuitive front-end interfaces to robust back-end services. You will leverage existing integration platforms to enable seamless data flow across the enterprise and play a key role in building CI/CD pipelines, enforcing code security practices, and managing application lifecycle in an Agile environment.

Work arrangement: This role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%–40% of a typical schedule, with approvals from the hiring manager.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development

• Design, build, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end applications using modern frameworks and best practices.
• Develop responsive, user-centric UI components and integrate them with cloud-hosted APIs and microservices.
• Own end-to-end feature development from requirements through deployment and post-release monitoring.

Integration & Data Enablement

• Leverage and extend existing enterprise integration platforms to enable data flow across systems.
• Design and implement APIs, event-driven integrations, and data pipelines to connect applications.
• Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams to ensure alignment with data governance and quality standards.

CI/CD & DevOps

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate build, test, and deployment workflows to accelerate delivery and improve code quality.
• Enforce infrastructure-as-code practices using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.

Application Lifecycle Management

• Manage the complete application lifecycle including version control, environment management, and release planning.
• Monitor application health, performance, and security; proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain technical documentation and architecture decision records.

Code Security & Repository Management

• Implement and enforce code security best practices within the development workflow.
• Manage the code repository including branching strategy and access controls.
• Ensure code quality gates and compliance checks are enforced prior to release.

Agile & Collaboration

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate cross-functionally with various teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to code reviews with constructive feedback.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and back-end frameworks (Node.js, Python, Java).
• Hands-on experience with enterprise integration platforms and RESTful/event-driven integration patterns.
• Expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitHub Actions.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization.
• Experience with application lifecycle management tools and version control workflows using GitHub or GitLab.
• Knowledge of code security tooling and secure SDLC practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS Certified Developer or equivalent cloud certification.
• Experience with enterprise integration platforms and data enablement processes.
• Familiarity with big data technologies and security best practices for cloud applications.

The proposed gross annual base salary for this position ranges from DKK652,800.00 to DKK979,200.00, depending on skills and experience. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for discretionary bonuses and long-term incentives.
