• New Business Development: Identify and secure new customers in sectors such as food processing, logistics, horticulture, pharmaceuticals, events, and ports.
• Sales Pipeline & Growth: Build and manage a structured pipeline and account plans, focusing on sustainable revenue.
• Consultative Selling & Negotiation: Understand customer needs, create tailored solutions, prepare quotes, and negotiate contracts.
• Customer Relationships: Establish strong connections with decision-makers and ensure high customer satisfaction.
• Operational Collaboration: Work with internal teams to validate feasibility and support service delivery.
• People Management: Guide and develop one Account Manager while maintaining a focus on business development.
• CRM & Sales Performance: Maintain Salesforce data, manage forecasts, and meet commercial targets.
• Market Intelligence & Cross-selling: Monitor market trends and collaborate with other business units for additional opportunities.

• HBO-level qualification or equivalent in business, sales, or a technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience with a strong track record in new customer acquisition, ideally in equipment rental or technical solutions.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers.
• Experience with service or rental solutions across various contract cycles is a plus.
• Autonomous, results-driven, and skilled in coaching.
• Proficient in Dutch and English; French is a plus.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and CRM tools, Salesforce experience is advantageous.
• Valid category B driving license.
