We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to take charge of how developers discover, understand, and engage with our APIs. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with a background in writing JavaScript code, who thinks like a developer and has strong opinions about documentation, developer experience (DX), and content.

The Role

You will translate deep technical capabilities into positioning, messaging, and content that resonates with a detail-oriented developer audience. This role sits at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing, requiring close collaboration with product managers and engineers to understand our offerings and with the broader marketing team to create compelling content.

Responsibilities

• Own the positioning and messaging for our API products, based on a solid understanding of technical capabilities.
• Plan and execute product launches and feature announcements, including technical narratives and go-to-market assets.
• Write high-quality, developer-facing content such as landing pages, launch posts, comparison pages, email sequences, in-product copy, and sales enablement materials.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to develop deep product knowledge and engage in technical discussions.
• Work with the docs/DX team to enhance the developer journey, including onboarding flows and quickstarts.
• Conduct win/loss analysis, customer interviews, and competitive research to refine messaging and inform roadmap discussions.
• Define and track key metrics for product marketing, including activation and content performance.
• Serve as the internal voice of developers and the external voice of the product.

Requirements

• 5+ years in product marketing, developer marketing, or a related field, preferably in a developer-focused company.
• A technical background (previous experience as a developer, solutions engineer, or technical writer is highly preferred).
• Exceptional writing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content.
• Strong understanding of UX and content design, focusing on how information is structured and consumed.
• Native or near-native English fluency with excellent verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and self-directed, able to identify opportunities and drive projects forward independently.
• Strong collaboration skills, particularly with engineering and product teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience marketing APIs, developer tools, or infrastructure products.
• A portfolio showcasing technical storytelling (e.g., blog posts, documentation, launch pages).
• Familiarity with API documentation tools, developer portals, or SDKs.
• Experience organizing developer community programs, hackathons, or technical events.
• Ability to work US hours.
