ING Analytics Wholesale Banking is looking for a Senior Product Manager to originate and build data-driven AI products. We are seeking a Product Expert with experience in Discovery and Experimentation who has successfully shipped products to join our Wholesale Banking AI discovery squad. This role is not traditional product management; it is entrepreneurial and global, working within an innovative international team to continuously discover and deliver high-impact AI opportunities for ING and its clients.

The Role

You will lead product discovery by identifying (data) problems, prioritizing the idea backlog, and designing and executing experiments to determine which problems need solving. Your focus will be on ensuring that solutions are utilized, trusted, and deliver measurable business value. You will stay informed about the latest advancements in AI and integrate that knowledge into your daily work. Managing the funnel and intake process in collaboration with colleagues in Tech and Digital, you will engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a squad of Data Scientists, UX designers, and (AI) Engineers to explore product ideas and validate user problems through research.
• Size opportunities, build business cases, apply storytelling, and measure results.
• Utilize Design and Product thinking methodologies, along with Lean and Agile delivery.
• Enhance product management maturity by establishing a continuous, visible, and outcome-driven learning loop.
• Demonstrate thought leadership both internally and externally.
• Maintain enthusiasm for technology, (Agentic) AI, and data science methods.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience in a technology-driven organization, preferably in financial services.
• Proven strategic thinking with hands-on experience in bringing products from concept to market.
• Experience with experimentation and discovery.
• University degree.
• Written and spoken fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.
