Vattenfall's Business Area Wind manages both Onshore and Offshore Wind projects, focusing on developing, constructing, and operating wind generation in the UK, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and the Netherlands. Our Digital Engineering team plays a crucial role in supporting these wind projects and operational sites by managing SCADA equipment and communication infrastructure.

De Rol

As a Senior OT Network Engineer, you will ensure that the SCADA Infrastructure operates securely and cost-effectively, providing data availability throughout the lifecycle of our wind farms. You will work closely with colleagues on both Onshore and Offshore wind portfolios, participating in project design and delivery phases.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Ensure secure and cost-competitive operation of SCADA Infrastructure.
• Handle technical network communication tasks for the operational fleet of wind farms.
• Pre-define scope and manage subcontractors for network equipment O&M.
• Maintain up-to-date configuration and ensure data integration with centralized data centers.
• Enhance cybersecurity measures to meet regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and optimize running network solutions.
• Develop and maintain High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation.
• Implement network segmentation, zoning, routing, switching, and redundancy.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call duty roster.
• Travel in Northern Europe up to 40% of the time, including offshore work when necessary.

Vereisten

• Degree in Engineering or similar with at least 5 years of experience in SCADA and OT network infrastructures within critical sectors.
• Expertise in Cisco and Check Point security network solutions.
• CCNP routing and switching certification or equivalent.
• Experience with highly-available networks and switching/routing protocols, including multicast.
• Knowledge of secure OT environments per IEC 62443 and NIS2 standards.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams.
