Lamb Weston is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to help lead the implementation, optimization, and support of our IT and OT network infrastructure. The Role

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Switching & Routing: Serving as a subject matter expert in IT and OT LAN/WAN switching infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance, primarily using Cisco and Allen-Bradley devices. Collaborate with controls engineers and OT teams to support PLC, SCADA, and HMI connectivity.
• Wireless Infrastructure: Acting as an SME in Cisco and Aruba wireless technologies and their enterprise ecosystems, including ISE and ClearPass.
• Network Security: Providing expertise in Cisco and Fortinet firewalls, including policy management, NAT, IPS/IDS, SSL inspection, and VPN (IPSec/SSL).
• Monitoring & Support: Utilizing monitoring protocols like SNMP and NetFlow for in-depth troubleshooting and fast issue resolution.
• SDWAN: Managing SDWAN architecture and operations, including policy management and WAN optimization.
• Cloud: Implementing cloud networking solutions with Aviatrix in AWS and Azure.
• Automation: Utilizing network automation and scripting skills (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Documentation: Designing and maintaining network infrastructure documentation, including high and low-level designs, runbooks, and diagrams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in global, enterprise-level LAN/WAN network engineering.
• Active certifications in Cisco, Aruba, and Fortinet products and technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Deep expertise in Cisco switching, advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), and Layer 2/3 design.
• Proven SME-level experience with Cisco ISE — 802.1X, CoA, profiling, guest portals, and posture.
• Strong hands-on experience with Aruba and Cisco wireless technologies (APs, mobility controllers).
• Solid working knowledge of Cisco Firepower/FTD and FortiGate firewalls, including FortiManager and FortiAnalyzer.
• Experience designing and operating SD-WAN solutions (Fortinet SD-WAN, Cisco Viptela/Meraki, or equivalent).
• Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley Stratix OT switches and industrial Ethernet networking in manufacturing or critical infrastructure environments.
• Proficiency with network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, traceroute, packet captures, etc.).
• Dutch language proficiency is required.
