Senior Maintenance Coordinator at Vanderlande

You will maintain effective communication with customers and internal teams to minimize disruptions to customer operations and manage expectations professionally. Strong listening and communication skills are essential, along with technical affinity and the ability to create clear work instructions and professional customer communications.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, coordinate, organize, and follow up on multidisciplinary preventive and corrective service activities and service projects.
Organize all necessary materials, tools, permits, and competencies required to execute service activities at customer sites.
Evaluate, improve, and back up maintenance planning, execution, and follow-up activities.
Communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure work is executed on schedule.
Ensure technical maintenance activities comply with service contracts and system requirements.
Inform, report, and advise customers on inspection results and follow up on required actions.
Capture all relevant maintenance data in IBM Maximo, our ERP maintenance management system.
Collect continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with our Continuous Improvement team to translate these into aligned and standardized processes.
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance maintenance coordination processes and operational efficiency by leveraging data, digital solutions, automation, and emerging technologies such as AI, helping to optimize service delivery, reduce administrative workload, and improve customer experience.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Software or Industrial Automation, or a comparable field.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a technical service environment.
Strong analytical skills and experience with databases and spreadsheets.
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Experience with ERP systems and a keen interest in further developing and optimizing business processes.
Interest in process improvement, digitalization, automation, and emerging technologies like AI, with the ability to translate innovative ideas into practical improvements in daily operations.
A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and the ability to constructively challenge existing practices.
