• Engage in all aspects of content creation: writing, researching, and proofreading daily news articles and features.
• Conduct interviews and transform gathered information into written articles, videos, and features.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including marketing and communication contacts at suppliers, thought leaders, executives, and industry representatives.
• Attend and report on international trade shows, exhibitions, or media trips.
• Identify editorial opportunities and share them with the platform editor.
• Write and proofread stories, posts, newsletters, in-depth articles, reports, and webinar scripts.
• Research and verify facts, dates, and statistics.
• Upload and organize content via the Content Management System (CMS).
• Produce in-depth reports and features.
• Ensure all content adheres to our corporate style guide and utilize our Grammarly tool.
• Write features for our journal, The World of Food Ingredients.
• Moderate webinars.
• Serve as a role model for fellow journalists, assisting them in developing their writing skills.
• Consistently deliver high-quality articles and features, with first drafts requiring minimal rework due to your experience and attention to detail.
• Participate in annual performance appraisal meetings for continuous professional growth.

We are looking for a colleague with strong written and verbal English communication skills, a positive can-do attitude, and a collaborative spirit.

• Residing within a 30-minute commute of Arnhem (or willing to relocate) is essential.
• Native English language proficiency is required, both written and spoken.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
• A passion for writing, editing, and proofreading.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, time management, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
