Senior Inside Sales Human Nutrition at Barentz

We are looking for an experienced Senior Inside Sales professional in Human Nutrition to join our team in Hoofddorp, the Netherlands. In this role, you will take ownership of a diverse customer portfolio and actively identify opportunities to drive profitable growth. You will build and maintain strong customer relationships, develop business with existing and new customers, and sell a focused portfolio of commodities and semi-commodities. Working against an individual sales budget and clear commercial targets, you will combine proactive business development with disciplined account management.

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of an individual sales budget and deliver agreed revenue and margin targets.
Manage and develop a diverse customer portfolio.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while proactively developing new business.
Actively sell and grow a focused portfolio of commodities and semi-commodities.
Identify customer needs, prepare commercial proposals, and convert opportunities into profitable sales.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with a clear focus on revenue growth and margin generation.
Maintain accurate customer, opportunity, and sales information in the CRM system.
Collaborate with sales, product management, customer service, and other internal teams to ensure effective follow-up and delivery.

Candidate Qualifications and Experience:

At least five years of inside sales experience within the food ingredients industry.
Experience working for a food ingredients distributor, competitor, or a comparable trading organization.
A proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships and proactively developing new business.
Experience managing an individual sales budget and working towards clear commercial targets.
Strong negotiation and account management skills, with a focus on revenue growth and margin generation.
Experience developing business with both existing and new customers.
Good working knowledge of CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
Fluent in Dutch and English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
Based within reasonable traveling distance of Hoofddorp.
