We are looking for a highly experienced and technically skilled Senior Field Application Engineer (FAE) to drive growth and support our expanding customer base in the European market. You will act as the primary technical link between our R&D/product teams and European customers, including OEMs and end-users.

The Role

In this role, you will provide expert-level pre-sales and post-sales technical support to European customers, ensuring seamless integration of our automation solutions into HFFS, VFFS, and Flowpack machinery. You will conduct technical assessments of customer requirements and design customized engineering solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and act as a trusted advisor to key European packaging OEMs.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert pre-sales and post-sales technical support to European customers.
• Conduct detailed technical assessments and design customized engineering solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues on-site or remotely.
• Support the sales team during technical presentations, product demonstrations, and RFPs.
• Gather market insights and track industry trends to influence the product roadmap.
• Deliver high-quality technical training sessions and workshops for customers and internal distributors.
• Mentor junior application engineers in packaging applications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience as an FAE, Commissioning Engineer, or Automation Engineer in the packaging machinery industry.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, or a related technical field.
• Deep understanding of packaging mechanics and control loops for Flowpack, HFFS, and VFFS applications.
• Strong proficiency in PLC programming and motion control systems.
• Experience with major automation brands in the European packaging market is preferred.

Nice to Have

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong customer-centric mindset.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), with fluency in another major European language as a significant advantage.
• Willingness to travel extensively across Europe (up to 40-50% depending on customer needs).
